Liaison Officer / Receptionist

Under minimal supervision, perform all specified duties for Sales Manager & Sales Engineers. The main duty is to liaise with the Sales Engineers, to ensure that the SE’s can focus on their core business being promoting engineering solutions. The incumbent needs to be flexible and assist with a wide spectrum of duties, to ensure a well operating office. Incumbent needs to be capable of competently deal with situations in the absence of the Management team and Sales Engineers

The incumbent would be required to meet the following minimum requirements.

  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 2-year Experience
  • Code BE Driving License
  • Computer literate – advanced level skills in Word, power point and Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to Execute and follow- trough
  • Professional & organised at all times

The incumbent would need to attend to the following main areas of work

  • The incumbent will work close together with the Sales Manager & Engineers to fulfil of the listed duties to her best of abilities
  • Reading, monitoring and responding to e-mails
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Delegate work in absence of the Sales manager
  • Diary Management assistance
  • Planning and organising meetings
  • Organising travel and preparing complex travel itineraries
  • Attending meetings on behalf of the Sales Manager
  • Taking acting points and writing minutes
  • Conducting research and Preparing presentations
  • Assist with the Internet upgrade actions
  • Answering telephones in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist with Quotations and Tenders
  • Assist with Quotation follow ups and report to the appropriate Engineer
  • Keep catalogues and brochure updated and available
  • Assist with expediting tasks and liaise with Ecogroup Logistic and Admin Department
  • Filing
  • Keeping the ECOVALVE Sales office organised and Clean
  • Scanning, faxing and coping of documents
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
